You As a Payroll Supervisor, Salary Will
- Assist with all day-to-day aspects of the Payroll Department with a primary focus on the salary population and involvement with hourly populations.
- Assist with running and overseeing the salaried payroll that consists of 3,500 employees.
- Responsible for overseeing 3 direct reports within salaried payroll and being part of a large payroll team.
- Responsible for processing leaves of absence, such as maternity and parental leaves, as well as complex terminations.
- Manage complex payroll for diverse populations, with multiple systems and pay cycles / schedules, in most Canadian provinces (including Quebec).
- Prepare statutory reporting and remittances.
- Prepare periodic and year-end income tax reporting processes and remittances.
- Assist with payroll accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Work in a hands-on role, with significant individual preparation as well as review and oversight over the work of others.
- You have 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
- You have your Payroll Compliance Professional Designation through the National Payroll Association.
- You have supervisor experience or have had direct reports.
- You can read and interpret collective bargaining agreements and determine related payroll requirements.
- You are familiar with payroll legislative requirements in multiple Canadian provinces, with knowledge of Quebec requirements an asset.
- You can learn and adapt quickly in an unfamiliar environment and are able to work with minimal supervision.
- You are detail oriented and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You can work at the office in-person located in London, ON. This is a fully in office position.
- The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000.
