The Product Designer is a hands-on role responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs that support Porter’s digital products. They work within a cross-functional squad to contribute to discovery, design flows, prototypes, and user interfaces. In the product model, they design iteratively, incorporate feedback and data, and ensure solutions are connected to measurable outcomes such as adoption, conversion, and satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in product discovery with Product Owners and Researchers, contributing insights on user needs and opportunities.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Design user interfaces for digital products, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user-friendly solutions.
- Incorporate user feedback and data analytics into the design process.
- Work iteratively with squads, ensuring design solutions align to product KPIs such as adoption, conversion, and NPS.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and business requirements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system or component library.
- Present design work to peers and stakeholders for review and feedback.

- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) or an understanding of agile development processes.
