Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in software development and operations. This role involves enhancing our infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and scaling our systems efficiently. You will work closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies that drive automation and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems for both cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with software developers and system operators to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
- Drive automation through effective scripting and configuration management.
- Develop and enforce best practices for security and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize production issues across multiple environments.
- Stay updated with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to our technology stack.
- 6+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a proven track record.
- Proficient in tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
- Adept at using version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT operations and a Lean/Agile development process.
