Summary

The Rooms Controller plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing room inventory and reservations within a hospitality environment, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue generation. This position requires close collaboration with front office, housekeeping, and sales teams to coordinate room availability and maintain seamless guest experiences. The Rooms Controller is responsible for monitoring room allocation and implementing strategies to balance occupancy with guest satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that room resources are utilized effectively to meet both business objectives and guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily room inventory and allocation to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure accurate room status updates and timely room readiness.
  • Implement and maintain room control procedures to optimize room assignments and minimize overbooking or vacancies.
  • Review of daily reports need for room assignment.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to room assignments and guest accommodations promptly and professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

90 Day Probationary Rate: $29.11 per hour / Hourly Rate: $34.25 per hour
