About the Role: IN OFFICE POSITION (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Data Analytics position plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making within the credit and collections sectors. The primary objective is to analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their data needs and providing them with tailored analytical solutions. By leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies, the Data Analyst will contribute to the development of data-driven strategies that align with the organization's goals. Ultimately, this position aims to empower stakeholders with the information they need to make informed decisions that positively impact the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- High Proficiency in SQL quiring (preferably Microsoft SQL Server).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning and predictive modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to inform business strategies and operational improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
