What We Are Looking For:
Sectigo is seeking a senior procurement leader to build, scale, and operate our procurement function. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, the Head of Procurement will serve as a strategic business partner across the organization, helping leaders make smart vendor, sourcing, and spend decisions while strengthening procurement policies, controls, reporting, and governance. This role requires someone who can think strategically, negotiate complex and high-value vendor agreements, and also roll up their sleeves in a lean environment to manage day-to-day sourcing, renewals, purchase processes, and vendor management. The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, software, or other high-growth B2B environments and brings a forward-looking perspective on how AI, automation, and procurement technology can improve efficiency, insight, and scale.
This is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model, and reporting to our Scottsdale, AZ office at least 3-4 days a week. The target compensation package for this role is between USD $120,000 and USD $150,000, subject to internal equity and years of experience. We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends..
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build, lead, and continuously improve Sectigo’s procurement function, including policies, workflows, approval processes, controls, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and vendor governance.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Engineering, Product, Sales, and executive leadership on vendor strategy, sourcing decisions, contract terms, third-party risk, and spend management.
- Lead negotiations for complex, high-value, and cross-functional vendor agreements, including SaaS subscriptions, software licensing, cloud and infrastructure services, professional services, security vendors, and enterprise technology platforms.
- Develop category and sourcing strategies that balance cost savings, operational needs, service quality, business agility, risk mitigation, and long-term vendor value.
- Operate hands-on in a lean environment, including managing sourcing events, vendor communications, purchase requests, contract reviews, purchase order processes, renewals, reporting, and escalation support as needed.
- Create a proactive renewal management process to improve visibility into upcoming renewals, pricing changes, contract terms, negotiation opportunities, and vendor performance.
- Build recurring spend analytics, savings tracking, procurement KPIs, vendor performance reporting, and executive-level dashboards to support decision-making and accountability.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic suppliers while developing preferred vendor relationships and improving supplier performance management.
- Partner with Legal, Security, Finance, and business stakeholders to manage third-party risk, data security requirements, compliance considerations, commercial terms, and contract obligations.
- Lead RFPs, competitive sourcing events, vendor ROI analyses, business case reviews, and total cost of ownership evaluations for material spend decisions.
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and procurement technologies to streamline sourcing, contract review, vendor risk monitoring, spend analysis, renewal tracking, and stakeholder experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, operations, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional procurement certification preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, supply chain, finance operations, or related functions.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior procurement leadership, strategic sourcing, or function-building role.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, software, or other high-growth B2B environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, including SaaS subscriptions, software licensing, cloud/infrastructure services, professional services, and enterprise vendor agreements.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable savings, improving procurement controls, increasing spend visibility, and building scalable procurement processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Engineering, Product, Sales, and executive leadership.

- Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to manage both enterprise-level agreements and day-to-day purchasing needs.
- Ability to build structure in an evolving environment, including policies, approval workflows, reporting cadences, vendor governance, and stakeholder education.
- Commercially minded and analytically strong, with the ability to evaluate total cost of ownership, ROI, usage, pricing models, contractual commitments, and business value.
- Experience with procurement systems, ERP workflows, contract lifecycle management tools, vendor management platforms, spend analytics tools, or related technologies.
- Interest in and practical understanding of how AI, automation, and data-driven tools can improve procurement operations, contract review, vendor risk management, spend analysis, and renewal tracking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive accountability without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment where the role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
Management Responsibilities:
- Initially, this role will operate as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to influence future team design and help scale the function as business needs evolve.
