About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Selling Partner Services organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing sophisticated tools and platforms that support Amazon’s seller ecosystem and consumer business. Your work will involve analyzing large data sets, designing scalable software solutions, and visualizing insights that influence strategic decision-making. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact Amazon’s growth and profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to translate complex requirements into robust, high-performance software solutions. As a key member of our team, you will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical culture, and help shape the future of Amazon’s technological landscape.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in agile software development methodologies
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience designing and developing scalable and reliable software solutions
- Strong understanding of system architecture, performance optimization, and system testing
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with data visualization and large data set handling is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and working software solutions in collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders
- Design, develop, and maintain software products that support various business functions and improve operational efficiency
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Ensure end-to-end system quality through comprehensive testing, including system, functional, and integration tests
- Take ownership of system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions on time and within scope
- Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to a positive technical culture
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality
