What you will do
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing Team as we are actively recruiting for a Machinist producing quality detailed component parts using a manual lathe. This position reports to the Machining Department Group Leader.

What we’re looking for
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine production process to machine a quality part.
- Set up, reference planes, surface location, dimensions and tolerances.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, assessing first off verification and sample work pieces.
- Maintain specifications by observation, troubleshooting, and adjusting.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Achieve production requirements by aligning work orders to priorities in manufacturing.
- Adhere to safety and quality standard practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work environment.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Secondary School Diploma required.
- Machinist, Mold Maker, or Tool and Die certified Journeyperson, an asset
- In depth knowledge of manual lathe.
- Blueprint reading and comprehension required.
- Sound judgement and attention to detail.

Wage range: $28.00 - $32.00 / hour
