Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- Cleaning, which includes: machines, mixers, table racks, conveyors, dishes, refrigerators
- Dusting of all office furniture, wipe down of desks
- Cleaning all bathrooms and breakrooms
- Restocking bathrooms/breakrooms
- Empty trash and recycle cans
- Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and shampoo carpets
- Ensure soap and paper towel dispensers are full at all times
- General cleaning: removal of garbage and debris in all departments, assist paint in weekly cleanup
- Pick up trash in parking lots and areas surrounding buildings
- Wear necessary PPE to protect from hazards including hexavalent chromium
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience
Prefer previous janitorial/custodial experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to variable weather conditions, confined spaces, and heights exceed two stories is likely.
Salary Range: $16-$18/hour
