About The Role
- We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of residential construction projects.
- This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage on-site activities, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Review project plans and specifications, providing input on scheduling, cost-saving measures, and potential construction issues.
- Oversee procurement of labor, materials, and equipment, assisting with budget management and monthly cost forecasting.
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, and resources on a weekly basis.
- Schedule inspections, enforce quality control standards, and ensure preparation of "as-built" drawings.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists, ensuring timely resolution.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams effectively.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years as a Construction Project Manager in residential new development or renovation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software.
- Strong technical knowledge of planning, scheduling, layout, quality control, and practical trade methods.
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations; carpentry or construction-related certifications are an asset.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
