Georgia-Pacific is seeking an IT Infrastructure Director to lead and continuously improve enterprise Compute, Connectivity, Audio-Visual, and Endpoint service offerings.
This senior leadership role is accountable for delivering reliable, cost-effective, and scalable infrastructure services through a team of people leaders, technical experts, and key internal and external partners. You will drive both strategy and execution—shaping service direction, strengthening operational discipline, and enabling measurable business outcomes.
What You Will Do
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop leaders and technical professionals, applying PBM principles to unlock capability and drive contribution
- Build and evolve a team with the right mix of experience, perspective, and skills to deliver value
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and process-driven execution
- Own end-to-end performance, reliability, cost, and evolution of infrastructure services
- Define and execute service strategies and roadmaps aligned to technology, security, and business priorities
- Manage financial performance, including cost transparency, forecasting, and optimization
- Partner with internal service providers and vendors to deliver against operational and financial commitments
- Drive process-driven ITSM operations (incident, problem, change, and configuration management) with KPI-based governance
- Lead continuous improvement using data, service maturity targets, and stakeholder feedback
- Serve as escalation point for major infrastructure incidents and lead efforts to reduce operational risk
- Build strong partnerships with Koch Technologies, Cyber, Architecture, and manufacturing/site leadership
- Align infrastructure capabilities with enterprise patterns, security standards, and business needs
- Lead governance cadences including service reviews, roadmap planning, and business alignment
- Compute: Physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers; storage; backup and recovery
- Connectivity: Network infrastructure, SD-WAN, OT networking, and cloud connectivity
- Endpoints: Workstations, mobile/industrial devices, cameras, and scanners
- Audio-Visual: Collaboration technology and conference room systems
- Use service performance data to identify and drive measurable improvements
- Partner with stakeholders to remove friction and improve reliability, cost, and user experience
- Lead response and resolution for major infrastructure incidents
- Coach leaders and develop team capability
- Collaborate across IT and business functions to align priorities and deliver outcomes
- Experience in IT infrastructure, including experience leading and developing technical teams and/or leaders
- Experience owning financial performance (budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills, including KPI development and operational reporting
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a people- and process-first mindset
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, including OT/IT integration
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization, lifecycle strategy, or large-scale migrations
- Experience managing vendor-delivered or managed service operations
- Experience leading multiple infrastructure domains or operating as a Service Owner
- Experience developing leaders across distributed or cross-functional teams
