Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and monitor daily dispatch operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
2. Coordinate and direct the movement of construction equipment and materials, including aggregates, asphalt, excavators, and dozers.
3. Maintain a detailed understanding of project requirements and schedules to effectively dispatch resources.
4. Use dispatch software to track and monitor the location and status of equipment and personnel.
5. Communicate effectively with construction teams, drivers, and other personnel to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of materials and equipment.
6. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to dispatching.
7. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines in all dispatch activities.
8. Prepare and present reports on dispatch activities and performance.
9. Continuously improve dispatch processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dispatch role, preferably in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with monitoring Dispatch Boards, handling aggregates, asphalt, and operating heavy equipment such as excavators and dozers.
3. Strong knowledge of construction operations, equipment, and materials.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in dispatch software and other relevant computer applications.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
