This is a Full-Time role
What You Will Do
- Lead and supervise more than 20 Direct Reports: Safety, Regulatory, 5S, Specific Job Functions.
- Follow operating guidelines, safety rules, and union contract requirements.
- Track team and individual performance.
- Work with internal leaders to complete daily tasks.
- Daily operation checklists.
- Payroll Processed Daily.
- Inspecting daily operations and monitoring Cast performance through observations.
- Independently manage warehouse operations as the on-site salaried leader for Distribution Services, addressing challenges and coordinating with leadership and business partners to ensure business continuity.
- Extensive experience in warehousing and distribution.
- Expertise in optimizing warehouse management systems to enhance efficiency and boost productivity.
- Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and leading.
- Proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments by expertly prioritizing tasks, coordinating multiple projects, and consistently meeting tight deadlines through exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Expert in harnessing computer technology for innovative solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Proven ability to tackle and resolve conflicts with swift, effective strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Skilled in budgeting and scheduling.
- Showed excellent understanding of business principles.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish a plus).
- Proven background in managing within a unionized workplace.
- Exceptional abilities in customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects successfully and drive results.
- Demonstrated expertise in 5S and KAIZEN methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree- Preferred.
