Maintenance Technician – Affordable Housing | Atlantic City, NJ
Salary: $20.00 – $23.00/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | On-Call Rotation

What You’ll Bring As a Maintenance Technician
You’re skilled, dependable, and care about doing the job right. You bring:
- 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed.
- Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training (we’ll train you!).
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills, a plus that helps connect with our residents!
Every day, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our community comfortable, safe, and well cared for:
- Bring spaces to life – perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
- Care for the grounds – maintain curb appeal through landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- Respond with urgency – complete work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes).
- Prioritize quality & compliance – follow all safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
- Be part of a team that cares – work closely with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in every repair.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
