Job Description

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily yard and production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity while leading and developing a high-performing team.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quotas, schedules, and shipment targets are met
  • Managing inventory accuracy, including tracking, reporting, and coordinating with purchasing on materials
  • Leading and promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing employees, including scheduling, performance management, and training
  • Partnering with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and repairs are completed promptly
  • Monitoring product handling, weighing, and storage to ensure accuracy and operational consistency
  • Supporting payroll processes, including reviewing and approving timecards and submitting documentation on time

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have 5–10 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing, industrial, or recycling environments
  • You have proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
  • You are strong in safety leadership and hold teams accountable to safety standards
  • You are organized and able to manage multiple priorities across operations, staff, and production
  • You are comfortable working on-site and occasionally operating or overseeing heavy equipment
  • You are bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred)
