- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors as directed in support of the business’ needs
- Track, store and maintain all required tooling required to ensure safe tool operation
- Be responsible for the calibration of the tools, making sure to respect the expiry date parameters
- Locate and clean equipment as required including moving the equipment to end locations before and after repairs are made
- Validate component lists and prepare for pick up by technicians or shipping via carrier
- Maintain shop and surrounding work area cleanliness
- Support Contamination Control efforts by maintaining bulk oil, collection sites and solvent stands according to ISO standards
- Ensure waste is segregated according to established policies
- Clean, typhoon/steam wash and buff parts as directed to assist Technicians with repairs
- May occasionally help technicians on the road with their tasks
- Completed high school OR have at least 3 years in a similar workshop support function
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 30 - 50lbs
- Comfortable working in a garage style environment, mechanical inclination
