Murphy's Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented PacMed Operator to support the daily operation of our automated medication packaging system.
In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes and work efficiently
- Comfortable working with technology and automated equipment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Role
While we all collaborate to provide services and hospitality to our team members and clients, we all play different roles to make this happen. You'll contribute by:
- Operate and monitor the PacMed machine to ensure accurate and efficient medication packaging
- Work within established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Perform tasks independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Refill and maintain canisters, ensuring proper inventory control and lot tracking
- Prepare STS trays and verify medication accuracy
- Manage batch processing, including urgent (STAT) requests
- Perform daily cleaning, routine maintenance, and maintain an organized workstation
- Previous experience working with automation and/or in a pharmacy setting is required
- Must be available to workdays, evenings, and weekends
