The Role
• Provide HR support to the Human Resources Manager in all HR-related functions.
• Ensure smooth and efficient HR operations and guide employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain open channels for employee communication and feedback.
• Investigate and address employee disagreements constructively and impartially.
• Partner with department managers to determine seasonal staffing needs and manage hourly employee requisitions.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and assist with sending offers and hiring talent.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in employee relations or a related HR field.
• Ability to work onsite.
• Experience with California Employment Laws and union environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be clear, concise, and diplomatic.
