We're looking for an MLRO to join our team at one of our portfolio companies -financial and crypto service located in Canada, currently in the process of obtaining MBS.
We offer a flexible part-time B2B contract (around 20 hours a week) with a possibility of full-time employment in the future. This role allows a flexible remote work model.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of the business strategy and growth.
- Drawing up and implementing risk policies and procedures
- Creating policies and associated documents, synchronizing policies with regulations and associated requirements/controls, logging all documentation, approvals, and interactions in a central policy repository, and tracking approval requirements.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, such as correspondent banks.
- Preparing and assembling data for regulatory reporting.
- Previous experience working in an AML/MLRO position for Canadian MSB.
- Education in preferably in Law or Finance.
- Proficient in English
- Strong background in managing compliance frameworks and a deep understanding of core AML regulatory requirements.
- Experience in the FinTech and cryptocurrency sectors.
- Availability to work within Canadian or European time zones.
