DEPARTMENT: 400 - Finance

Job Summary

This role requires a hands-on, operationally engaged finance leader who combines strong business acumen with people leadership, accountability, and execution.

The ideal candidate is a “working CFO” — someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, understand the business at all levels, and build scalable financial infrastructure while driving performance, accountability, and operational discipline across the organization.

This role directly oversees the Finance department. The CFO must be able to partner closely with other leaders to ensure alignment between financial strategy, operational execution, and organizational growth.

The CFO will oversee and lead PharmaLink’s accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, budgeting, reporting, audit, and strategic finance functions while helping position the company for continued growth and scalability within a private equity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic and operational finance partner to the CEO, executive leadership team, private equity investors.
  • Provide executive oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management functions, while directly leading FP&A, forecasting, financial modeling, and enterprise financial strategy initiatives.
  • Build, refine, and maintain scalable financial infrastructure, reporting tools, KPIs, and dashboards that provide timely visibility into company performance and leading indicators.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to executive leadership, board members, private equity stakeholders, and lenders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to improve financial accountability, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.
  • Drive budgeting discipline and educate leaders on financial ownership, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Support organizational scalability through financial modeling, workforce planning support, capital planning, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, auditors, tax advisors, and external financial stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial risks, operational gaps, and succession vulnerabilities while implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, lender obligations, and internal financial controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic guidance related to growth initiatives, investments, acquisitions, vendor agreements, and commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain and optimize ERP and financial systems infrastructure, including SAP and related reporting platforms.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable finance culture focused on collaboration, responsiveness, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate as a key contributor in executive planning, compensation strategy discussions, and board-level initiatives.
  • Prepare and present quarterly board meeting materials in collaboration with the PharmaLink executive leadership team.

  • High accountability and urgency with the ability to drive deadlines and execution
  • Strong operational curiosity and willingness to learn the business beyond finance
  • Ability to coach leaders to expectations, work through organizational challenges, and navigate around barriers to achieve business objectives
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Proven ability to build trust, accountability, and alignment across departments without direct reporting authority
