The Head of Logistics is at the forefront of our strategy to deliver great food that nurtures and nourishes both people and planet. We are the UKs largest independent dairy producing over one billion servings of food a year. The Head of Logistics will lead both the Isleport Logistics Campus and manage 3PL contracts; the role has a broad span of responsibility, including responsibility for facilities management of our Acorn House office. As our business continues to grow there will be a need to identify both capital and low/no cost improvements to increase capacity and efficiencies of the logistics operation.
You will be responsible for leading the site team in the delivery of the local vision “Nourishing the Nation”, accountable for developing and executing the logistics strategy within a rolling 18-month horizon. You will champion and develop a co-ownership culture, building an environment where all co-owners can thrive, confident in their future and working at a site where they feel they belong and have meaningful influence.
As part of the Manufacturing and Logistics leadership team, you will also be responsible for enhancing and optimising our operational performance, sharing best practice and in doing so fulfilling our Supply strategy to provide the best product, service and cost proposition in our categories realising our ambition to be the best-in-class supplier. Your first challenge will be the successful role out of a new WMS ensuring we have a system fit for the future.

Essential
- Proven experience of successful leadership within large complex FMCG operations
- Proven experience as a successful cultural change agent
- Short shelf life / high care / dairy category experience preferred
- Experience of WMS/systems implementation preferred
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline preferred
- Post graduate management qualification preferred
- Recognised leadership qualification in Health and Safety preferred
