Operator Formulator
Abbotsford, BC
About The Position
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Operator Formulator is a key member of our operations team and performs all warehouse duties within a unionized environment as required. If you are looking for a challenging role in a team-oriented environment and a fast-paced facility, this is the job for you!
What you’ll do:
- Blend and transfer bulk chemicals
- Load/offload tanker trucks and rail
- Place products on skids and wrapping them for storage and transport
- Load goods onto and off trucks
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and putting away products
- Light cleaning/maintenance of the warehouse and tank farm
- Other duties as required
- Minimum of high school education
- One (1) year of experience working in a similar role
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong focus on safety, particularly while operating heavy machinery
- The ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
