We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Specialist to join our growing residential single-family electrical construction team. This position supports pre-construction operations by preparing accurate estimates, reviewing plans, coordinating material pricing, and assisting with bid preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare residential electrical estimates and material takeoffs
- Review blueprints, specifications, and builder requirements
- Coordinate pricing with vendors and suppliers
- Assist with budgeting and pre-construction planning
- Maintain accurate bid and estimating records
- Communicate with project managers, field staff, builders, and suppliers
- Identify scope gaps and project risks
- Attend occasional builder meetings and job site visits
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Specific Qualifications
- Experience in residential electrical estimating or construction
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Strong math, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient with computers and estimating software
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
- Combination of office and occasional field/site work
- Prolonged computer use and desk work
- Ability to walk active construction sites as needed
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
