What You’ll Do
- Required to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in plant or office facilities and/or on machines and equipment.
- Performs work maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, basic electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and/or general maintenance.
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.
- Uses hand and power tools.
- May be involved in testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.
- Uses prints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- May be involved with monitoring/assisting work performed by vendors.
- Grade 12 and College Diploma is required.
- Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A.
- 2-5 years experience in an industrial setting.
- Automotive experience an asset
- Must be available to work a continental shift rotation of two weeks on day shifts followed by two weeks on night shifts. Shift hours are 6:30–6:30 for both rotations.
- Pay Rate: $44.48/hour
- Double pay on Sundays: 8 of the 12 hours worked on Sundays are paid at double time
- Extra pay for day shift: +$0.85 per hour
- Extra pay for night shift: +$1.20 per hour
- Cost‑of‑Living pay: +$0.75 extra per hour, on every hour worked
