Hourly Wage: $20.55/hr - $26.74/hr
Responsibilities
- Box opening and bag opening
- Stack boxes onto equipment and onto pallets
- General clean up around work station
- Ongoing clean up and sanitation of the work area
- Assist in packaging, clean up, etc.
- Using or wearing the protective equipment designated by the accident prevention policy.
- Follow safe work procedures.
- Reporting immediately to their supervisor any unsafe conditions or acts.
- Reporting all accidents or injuries to your supervisor immediately.
- Follow good manufacturing practices and HACCP rules.
- Participate in food safety and quality programs of the facility within the specific role
- Reporting of food safety, food security and quality concerns to the immediate supervisor
- Participate in sanitation activities
- Be available for 12 hour shifts rotational shift
- Be hard working and reliable
- Able to work alone for extended periods of time
- Work in a safe, efficient manner
- Follow personal hygiene rules
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting and occasional lifting of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Stand/Walk for 12 hours
- Squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, use of ladders, stairs
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs/23kg
