Private Capital Strategists are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-level strategic, capital-market, and operational guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors while earning fees and building verified credibility.
Role Overview
Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Capital Strategists to deliver strategic advisory, capital strategy, and operational guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.
This is an independent contractor role, not traditional employment. Strategists are activated through a verification and approval process.
Once Approved, Strategists Will
- Advise on capital raising, fund formation, deal structuring, and operational strategy
- Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity, skill, and credibility
- Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
- Build a verified Strategist Track Record within the ecosystem
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Approved Private Capital Strategists May
- Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning
- Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy
- Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution
- Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance
- Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors
Eligible Advisory Areas
- Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications
- Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy
- Operational or portfolio company advisory
- Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts
- Investor relations and network strategy
Compensation & Deal Economics
- Independent contractor engagement
- Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope
- Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals
- Payments issued after completion of advisory milestones or deal closure
- No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions
- Submit a Strategist application with background, track record, and deal history
- Complete verification and category approval
- Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
- Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements
