Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Business Analyst - Cross-Border Payments. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects within the cross-border payments domain, providing valuable exposure to global transaction processing and client solutions.

Pay rate range (CAD): $65.22/hr – $78.26/hr

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements
Engage stakeholders to gather, validate, and socialize project deliverables
Develop detailed business cases, process flows, and benefit analyses aligned with organizational strategy
Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements
Facilitate user acceptance testing and assist in business implementation activities
Coordinate project activities, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate status updates proactively
Support decision-making by preparing clear presentation materials for teams and executives
Foster strong working relationships with business partners and project teams across functions

Desired Skill-Set

7+ years of Business Analyst experience within financial services or related sectors
Proficiency with Jira and experience managing requirements and workflows
At least 2 years of experience with payments, including cards, wires, Interac, or cross-border transactions
Strong SQL and Power BI reporting skills (2+ years)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively
Experience in process reengineering, business requirements documentation, and testing planning
Demonstrated ability to handle large, complex programs in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of banking operations, capital markets, or trading platforms is an asset

Nice to Have

Banking industry experience
Familiarity with banking systems and processes
Payment rails and digital payment solutions expertise
Knowledge of AI and automation technologies
