Overview


Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in building and maintaining positive relationships. They will be the face of EHN Bellwood Toronto and will have a wide range of responsibilities aimed at supporting the smooth operation of the organization.



  • Ensure all visitors and clients are checking in upon arrival and departure.

  • Work with the admissions, intake team and MSW to ensure proper bed allocation.

  • Answer telephone, email and direct clients as needed.

  • Assist in coordinating special projects and initiatives.

  • Track project timelines and milestones.

  • Research and compile data as needed for reports and presentations.

  • Collaborate with staff, external vendors or stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of events including holiday events, team building, cultural events, charity events etc.

  • Help provide clear communication with clients when required, by assisting with overhead announcements, and maintaining digital screens with updated programing. 

  • Assist in the success and growth of the Wellness Centre (chiropractic, physiotherapy, RMT, acupuncture) scheduling appointments, accepting payment and producing clients with invoice/receipts for their insurance.

  • Overall, this position plays a vital role creating a supportive environment and streamlining operations.

  • Review invoices, help track inventory, receipts and supplier documents

  • Assist with ordering food, beverages and supplies.

  • Keep records for health inspection and audits.


Qualifications



  • Education in Social Service Work or Health Administration is an asset

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 to 50lbs as part of regular duties.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, the ability to move quickly and safely in a fast pace environment

  • 5 years minimum of administrative work experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse communities.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with the commitment to collaborate and demonstrate good teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability troubleshoot computer issues is an asset.
